TV wall brackets – Three installation steps

Have you purchased a new plasma TV for your home? If yes, then you must buy a TV bracket in order to mount the TV on the wall safely. Nowadays, many homeowners are buying TV brackets because they offer more benefits than TV units and stands. One of the major benefits is that TV brackets save a lot of floor space.

Once you have purchased an appropriate TV bracket, you should be able to install it yourself by following these few simple steps:

1. Find studs – Once you have selected the right wall for your TV bracket, use a stud finder to locate studs in the wall. This is very important because it will allow you to fix the TV bracket securely.

2. Drill in the wall – Mark the centre of the studs with a pencil and then drill into the markings. Ensure that you are drilling on the right wall at the proper angle for the best TV viewing experience.

3. Fix the TV bracket – After drilling into the wall, you can mount the TV bracket with the help of screws. Leave some space between the wall and TV bracket for running cables and wires.

Once you have installed the TV bracket on the wall, take some help from your family or friends to place the TV upon it. Ensure that all cords and cables are connected properly to the TV. If you are fixing a swivel or tilt TV wall bracket then take some extra time to install arm-type attachments.
